Spring has sprung and Heritage Month has drawn to a close, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop celebrating our amazing country and where we come from. The last holiday to be added to the Public Holidays Bill, the 24th of September is a day to rejoice in the diverse cultural heritage that makes up our rainbow nation. We are encouraged to share and celebrate our beliefs and traditions, recognising the contribution of all South Africans in the development of our wonderful country.
In typical South African fashion, we have extended the holiday beyond just one day of celebrating our heritage, to enjoy an entire month of remembering our past and looking to our future. Whatever your heritage and however you chose to celebrate it, how much do you think you know about South Africa, past and present? Follow this link to take our fun quiz and find out!
